Paul Wagner said research completed on artist Georgia O’Keeffe since the 1970s made his documentary “Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light” possible.
“Nurses are really designed for this work,” said award finalist Janice Hawkins.
Access Virginia, a local nonprofit, provides open captioning and audio narration for theater and museum visitors who are blind, deaf or hard of hearing. The founder says the service allows her clients to 'laugh with everyone else and cry with everyone else.'
The City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to vote on a resolution changing the name of the 31st Street Park to The William D. Sessoms Jr. Neptune’s Park.
